Eligibility
All girls born between 01/01/2011 and 12/31/2013. League age 7-8. First graders who are League Age 6 may play Tee Ball upon request.
Overview
This is the first introduction to softball for girls in DSBP. 11-inch softballs are used. This is an instructional league in which Coaches pitch to batters underhand and there is no stealing. The rules are modified to ensure that players are given plenty of opportunities to learn and succeed. Teams do not keep score and there are no formal standings.

Season
Registration for Spring Season opens December 1 and runs through February 10. Player evaluations will be held February 22-23. The draft will be held February 24-25. Practices begin the first week of March. Games begin April 13 with official opening day celebrations on April 18.
