Berwyn Ballers Travel Baseball
The Berwyn Ballers is an independently run travel baseball program created to give BPALL players a chance to continue playing with their friends while competing at a higher level. While the program operates independently from Berwyn Paoli Little League, it is organized to align with BPALL’s values—developing local players, building community, and fostering growth through competitive play.
Program Overview
Berwyn Ballers teams will participate in the Fall travel season, with the option to continue in Winter Training and Spring. Teams are composed entirely of BPALL-eligible players, helping kids grow together while facing stronger competition.
Fall Season: League games on Sundays and 1–2 tournaments (Sept–October)
Winter (Optional): Indoor clinics and skills sessions run by coaches
Spring Season: Continued travel ball and tournaments, complementing BPALL
Practices: 1–2 weekday evenings per season
Breaks: Scheduled summer/winter downtime to support player recovery

Commitment & Development
Travel baseball is a team-first environment. Players are expected to regularly attend practices, games, and off-season workouts. While other interests are encouraged, team events must take priority during the active season. Families should be prepared for both the time and financial commitment before tryouts.
March through August: Regular attendance at practices and games is critical.
-
Off‑season workouts: Participation in summer/fall or winter training sessions is expected.
-
We support diverse extracurricular interests but ask that travel baseball be prioritized during the season.
Playing Time: Parent & Player Expectations
Travel baseball is competitive by nature. While development remains a core priority, playing time is earned—not guaranteed. Every player will have opportunities to grow and contribute, but positions and in-game time will reflect:
Performance in practice
Effort, attitude, and coachability
Situational game needs
Commitment to team activities
During regular season games & tournaments with pool play (e.g. seeding rounds), coaches will often rotate players across positions to provide exposure and opportunities. However, once elimination rounds begin, lineups will shift toward giving the team its best chance to compete and win. We ask that both players and parents approach the travel season with the mindset of development through competition, understanding that playing time may not always be equal, but it will always be earned and part of a larger learning experience.
How to Determine Your Child’s Travel Age
Your player's travel age is based on their age as of April 30, 2026, following the national travel baseball standard.
Example:
A player born May 1, 2015 is considered 9U, because they turn 10 after the April 30 cutoff.
Formula:
Travel Age = Age your child will be on April 30, 2026
