Challenger Day 2022 is May 14 at Field of Dreams!
Berwyn Paoli Area Little League is proud to announce that we will be hosting Challenger Day 2022 on May 14, 2022 at Field of Dreams. This amazing event will bring about 30 Little League Challenger teams and close to 400 Challenger players from our area to our fields for a day of games and festivities.

The Little League Challenger Division was founded in 1989, and is Little League's adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. More about the Little League Challenger program can be found

BPALL's Challenger Program started in 1991. This year's Challenger Day will mark the 11th time that BPALL has hosted this event. Gary Brooks, the Director of BPALL's Challenger Program for the last 12 years, won the 2020 Chevy Cares award for his unwavering dedication to BPALL's Challenger Program and all of the Challenger participants across our area. Volunteers Needed
Planning and executing an event this large requires a lot of help from the community. We are looking for volunteers for both the evening of Friday, May 13 and for all day Saturday, May 14 (the day of the event).
Friday, May 13 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm: 40+ volunteers needed to to help setup tents & tables, load ice into coolers, line fields, and paint bases.
Saturday, May 14:
Up to 225 Player "Buddies" needed to accompany players requiring assistance - this is a great opportunity for kids who are 12 years old and older
About 60 volunteers needed to assist with games
About 20 volunteers needed to help finish any remaining setup on the morning of the event
About 10 volunteers needed to help direct traffic and assist with parking
About 10 volunteers needed to help run the Home Run Derby from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
20+ volunteers needed to help take down the tents and clean up after the event
In addition, we will be looking for people who can lend coolers and pop-up tents for the day's festivities.
